BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Rafode Ltd a credit only company Headquartered in Kisumu with the mission of Banking the Unbanked, we are a growing lender to the unBanked and under-banked. We aim at diversifying our portfolio of services and innovative solutions to be a fully Fin-tech digitized company.
Role summary.
Rafode is looking for suitable and qualified individual to fill the position of Business Development Officer in our various operational areas, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Consistently grow the company's product portfolio by marketing to groups and individuals.
Develop plan for growth of the products and identify suitable clients.
Conduct clients education on the products features and requirements
Conduct loan appraisal and make recommendation to his supervisor/Credit committee
Go extra mile to build trust relationship ,customer loyalty and satisfaction through the underwriting process.
Visit client business from time to time during loans assessment and monitoring to ensure the quality of loan is maintained at the expected level.
Analyse loan markets and develop referral networks in order to locate prospects for loan.
Analyse Applicants financial status , credit and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting of a loan.
Review loan agreement to ensure that they are complete and accurate according to the policy.
Handle customer complains and take appropriate action to resolve them.
Ensure that clients pay their loans on time.
Always adhere to the credit and lending policy and procedures.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
Diploma in Business related discipline from recognized college
At least one year of relevance experience but its not mandatory
Competencies and personal attributes:
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to work with numbers , conduct analysis of information
Ability and willingness to follow up clients personally and with key eyes on both financial data
Ability to make sound judgement and quick right decision.
Ability to build trust , value others , communicate effectively and drive execution.
Self- motivated and ability to motivate others
Customer satisfaction orientation and sales competencies.
Computer skills is an added advantage
