Job Description

As a Cafeteria Food Service Worker at Naivas Supermarket, you will be an essential part of our team, ensuring our customers enjoy high-quality and hygienic food options in our in-store cafeteria. You will be responsible for preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness standards, and providing friendly service. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to food safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of food items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the cafeteria area, including cooking equipment, serving stations, and dining tables.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating food supplies.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, including HACCP principles.
  • Provide excellent customer service, taking orders accurately and handling transactions.
  • Monitor food temperatures and ensure proper holding times to maintain freshness and safety.
