JOB TITLE: PERSONAL DRIVER

NATURE OF JOB: FULL TIME

SALARY: KSHS. 25,000

JOB LOCATION: RUIRU-MEMBLEY


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide safe and punctual transportation for the employer and authorized individuals.
  • Plan routes and accommodate last-minute travel changes or requests.
  • Ensure the vehicle is always clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections and coordinate timely servicing and repairs.
  • Maintain a logbook of travel times, mileage, and fuel usage.
  • Observe all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring the safety of passengers at all times.
  • Drive during day and night hours, ensuring alertness and vision are sufficient for night driving.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding the employer’s personal and professional matters.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, courtesy, and customer service in all interactions.
  • Handle errands and deliveries as requested.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

  • Minimum 5 years of solid, verifiable experience as a personal or professional driver
  • A valid Kenyan driving license with a clean driving record
  • Proven knowledge of Nairobi and its environs, especially the Ruiru-Membley area
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required
  • Good eyesight and ability to drive at night without difficulty
  • Basic mechanical knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and strong work ethics
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Punctual, responsible, and well-groomed
