Job Summary

Walgreens is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician specializing in data entry and patient registration to support our pharmacy operations. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate patient information, prescription processing, and seamless pharmacy workflow. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter and verify patient information into Walgreens pharmacy management systems.

  • Assist in patient registration, ensuring completeness and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

  • Process prescription data, including medication details, dosage, and refill information.

  • Coordinate with pharmacists to resolve discrepancies and ensure patient safety.

  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records for easy access and auditing purposes.

  • Provide administrative support to pharmacy staff, including preparing reports and managing communications.

  • Uphold Walgreens standards for quality, compliance, and patient confidentiality at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) designation is a plus.
