Procurement Officer Job (45-60K) Procurement Jobs. Duties and Responsibilities Procurement & Supplier Management: Source, evaluate, and engage reliable suppliers for hardware and construction materials. Request and analyze quotations, negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery timelines. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure continuity of supply and favorable terms. Ensure all procurement activities are in compliance with company policies and ethical standards. Monitor market trends and material availability to ensure cost-effectiveness and minimal supply disruptions. Inventory & Store Management: Monitor stock levels and coordinate with project teams to forecast material needs. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to meet project schedules. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory, purchases, and supplier information. Conduct regular stock reconciliations and flag inconsistencies or discrepancies. Minimize stock wastage, theft, and pilferage by enforcing proper store procedures and controls. Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain purchase orders, delivery notes, and supplier invoices. Track procurement expenses and prepare regular procurement reports for management. Maintain organized procurement and inventory files for audits and compliance checks. Cost Control & Budgeting: Continuously seek cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Work closely with the finance and project teams to ensure budget alignment. Analyze purchasing data to identify areas for process and cost optimization.
