Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Social Media Chat Moderator to join our remote team. This is an entry-level, beginner-friendly position perfect for individuals passionate about online communities and digital safety. As a Chat Moderator, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive and respectful environment across our social media platforms. You will monitor user-generated content, engage with community members, and ensure compliance with our community guidelines. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor live chats and user-generated content on various social media platforms to ensure adherence to community guidelines.
  • Proactively engage with users to foster a positive and interactive community atmosphere.
  • Identify and address inappropriate content, spam, or disruptive behavior in real-time.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide basic support related to platform usage and community rules.
  • Escalate complex issues or policy violations to senior moderators or relevant teams.
  • Maintain detailed records of moderation activities and incident reports.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of moderation processes and guidelines.

Required Skills
