Job Description

Join Naivas Supermarket as a Stocking Associate in Kangundo, Machakos County! In this crucial role, you will ensure our shelves are consistently stocked, organized, and visually appealing, directly contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and displaying merchandise, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the sales floor and stockroom tidy and safe. Key Responsibilities

  • Efficiently receive, unload, and store incoming merchandise following company procedures.
  • Stock shelves, displays, and coolers with products, ensuring proper rotation (FIFO) and appealing presentation.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify low stock, and report discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stocking area and sales floor at all times.
  • Assist customers with locating products and provide friendly, helpful service as needed.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and responsibly (training provided).
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 kg regularly.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
